Pickled Cranberries & Cranberry Ketchup!!
We tried some new recipes for the holidays this year and have come up with two new products with limited availability. New this year are - Pickled Cranberries and Cranberry Ketchup.
The Pickled Cranberries are excellent on a cheese plate or relish tray, in a salad, or on a sandwich. They are also great in mixed drinks, try a spoonful with a glug of sparkling water and a splash of gin for a bright, seasonal cocktail!
The Cranberry Ketchup is pretty much ketchup made with cranberries instead of tomatoes. It has such a bright and delicious flavor (with a tiny bit of heat.) And it's not just for the holidays, although it is also known by the name of Christmas Ketchup! It's become a huge favorite around our house and I'm hoping we have enough extra so we'll have it year round. You can use it anywhere you would use tomato ketchup, served with turkey instead of cranberry sauce, it would also make a great glaze for meat, or a simple vinaigrette combined with vinegar and oil.
