Every year when the first frost hits we are left with a bunch of beautiful, but not ripe hot peppers. As an experiment we tried a batch of our Rooster Sauce with the green, not yet ripe habaneros. Much to our delight it was delicious, and quite a bit different that our regular Rooster Sauce. The green habaneros are definitely hot, but they have a different flavor, almost citrusy! This version, much like the original is the perfect all purpose hot sauce, not too hot, but definitely hot enough, super flavorful and great on everything.
Ingredients: habanero peppers, organic white vinegar, organic apple cider vinegar, sea salt, organic oranges, local sustainably grown garlic (farm is listed on the label), organic sugar
